Verônica Belchior at En Taza ☕ Research Scientist in Coffee Quality Evaluation at World Coffee Research (WCR) and an international authority on sensory analysis and coffee quality. She has over 15 years of experience in the coffee industry and 10 years of experience in applied coffee research. She holds a PhD in Food Science, completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UFMG, and worked on projects involving advanced evaluation of roasting profiles using infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance. Additionally, she has been a Q-Grader since 2013, and is an educator and international consultant for Q-Grader certification preparation, roasting chemistry, and coffee extraction. Her current work contributes to the development of genetic improvement programmes and coffee variety evaluation in various producing countries. This presentation is endorsed by World Coffee Research.
