My Project 30 Journey

Thirty is a magical number. I saw a video last night that said we become a completely different person every five years. By the time you're thirty, you would have changed your personality over itself six times. That really got me thinking…where do I see myself when I'm thirty years old? Six years ago, I walked away from the Macau national swimming team. I was totally burnt out, stuck on my times, and just lost the love for the water. So I gave up on being amphibious…yet here I am, back to being an athlete! And so I wondered what my 18-year-old self would think of me if we sat down for coffee together. Would he be inspired by this version of me, at 24, with an MBA and as a corporate banker who wakes up early voluntarily to train and hustle? He would have said it was absurd. But here I am, nonetheless. I guess the point is—we change, but our roots never do. Would my 29-year-old self be glad that I took the leap of faith before 30 and start my content creation life seriously? Project 30 is the answer. This will be my new series where I record my life pivots. Stay tuned!
