This year, when visiting Shimane Prefecture, T and I plan to carry out a special project!
Besides thanking Japan for its top-notch hospitality, we also hope to spread Taiwan's warm human touch.
We bought a box of representative souvenirs, 'pineapple cakes', at the airport and randomly shared them with people who helped, looked after, and entertained us during our trip.
The results of this sharing are as follows:
Izumo Tsukiusagi Hotel check-in counter
Izumo Tsukiusagi Hotel breakfast counter
Matsue Station yakiniku restaurant staff
Matsue Naniwa Issui Hotel check-in counter
Matsue Castle takoyaki stall family
I originally thought this project would test T and me, who both have social anxiety, but from opening our mouths, giving, receiving, thanking, to 'you're welcome', everything actually went quite smoothly. Perhaps it's truly because it's an action from the heart that makes everything so natural! This project will continue on our next trip – looking forward to seeing the surprised and joyful expressions of people when we present them with souvenirs again!
Postscript:
It feels like my public relations skills have improved quite a bit after this trip!
A brand new future at work will soon be announced to everyone, and I look forward to continuing to connect with you all~
Please give me your guidance!
