I bought this Piaggio Zip 50cc for $500 without being too sure what state it was in… I just knew it had been sat for a long time in the sun ☀️ and rain 🌧️ When I bought it everything worked, I did the minimum repairs to pass the MOT and sold it to a customer who was in a hurry. It went for $1400 💸 Buuuut… the customer came back the next day saying it was hard to start in the morning 😅So I got stuck in again: changed the spark plug, autochoke and fuel pump (all used parts I had from another bike)… and it was perfect 🔧 Bike $500 Certificate: $70 Petrol to pick it up: $30 Bulb: $13 Missing mirror and spares: recycled from another bike (Next flip we'll analyse costs again) Work hours: 15hrs after all? Profit: $817 💰 Moral of the story: sometimes the deal doesn't end when you sell, but when the customer leaves happy 👊 Would you have left it as it was or would you have also responded after selling it?
