Our travel photography memories

From 2021 to 2024, I didn't properly document my life and feelings; only photos lay quietly in my phone album.
Our long-distance relationship has been truly lengthy, a full 15 and a half years. For the first ten years, we were still half-grown kids. You could only verbally satisfy me, saying you'd take me here and there in the future, and take beautiful photos of me. And when we both had the means, you indeed fulfilled your promises.
In recent years, we've travelled to several countries. These are photos taken by photographers during our trips. I've picked out a few of my absolute favourites. I love taking photos; he's given me a pink camera film, an Instax Mini, and these travel photos. He gave me the Instax Mini after I finished secondary school, which probably wasn't cheap for us back then. In university, a not-so-close classmate asked us: What do you think is the biggest sign of your boyfriend's love for you? I replied: He gave me an Instax Mini. I didn't expect their answers to be LV, Gucci, and designer handbags! Haha, we really are down-to-earth people. But this gift truly touched my heart, and many wonderful memories have been recorded.
I like taking photos because they don't just capture the moment; they capture the entire mood of that time.
Photos 5-9: These photos were taken in February 2022 in Venice. Venice is a city of water, or you could say a dock. Early that morning, we woke up earlier than everyone else to prepare for the shoot. The photographer's name was Lukas, a local. It was still dark when we arrived, and the air was filled with layers of mist. It was cold, super cold, but for a girl wanting beautiful photos, how could she possibly feel cold, right? Under his guidance, we walked through streets big and small, perfectly avoiding the local crowds. My favourite part was the spin in front of this coffee shop, fulfilling my childhood fantasy of travelling with you; the whole air felt sweet. (PS: This was the first country we travelled to together.)
Photos 10-15: These photos were taken in August 2023 in Sydney. It was a cool-weathered Singapore. This time, we wanted to shoot at dusk, in a grassy area. The photographer, Janice, a Chinese national, introduced us to this spot, saying you could perfectly see the whole city, and indeed it was true. My favourite photos are this series of us running in the street; cars came and went, and we kept repeating the action, but it didn't diminish our happiness. We shot until the sun went down, the last
