Map to Fail with All Your Might

A half-hearted failure doesn't feel good, but a failure after giving it your all feels good. When you fail, you feel frustrated or annoyed, don't you? But the real reason you feel bad isn't the failure itself. It's because you were half-hearted. A half-hearted failure leaves you feeling a bit muddled. For example, a failure where you think, "I was careless!" leaves you with regret, doesn't it? You might even feel a little ashamed that you weren't serious. You might dwell on it, thinking, "If I'd been serious, maybe it would have worked out..." Because your actions were half-hearted, your ability to move on also becomes half-hearted. So, what kind of failure is good? It's a failure where you gave it your all. When you do something, give it your absolute best. Even if it doesn't work out, a failure after you've given it your all actually leaves you feeling refreshed. You can accept it, thinking, "My ability just wasn't enough," and that brings a sense of clarity. You won't dwell on it. You did what you had to do, so you can accept the failure straightforwardly. If you challenge yourself wholeheartedly and fail, it's easier to process mentally, and it feels good.
