Mount Ryōzen Hike and Hikone Castle

Mount Ryōzen 🏔️, recommended by Kameoka-san for its beautiful views of Lake Biwa along the way. I wore my MIDNIGHT PIZZA CLUB t-shirt for the climb, but unfortunately, the weather was so bad that I could barely see a few metres ahead, let alone Lake Biwa, and I nearly got separated from my group a few times. There were so many spiky rocks it felt like walking on a reflexology mat 😇 I really felt the joy of treading the earth with the whole of my soles. But it was fun, I felt like I was in Princess Mononoke 🦌. All in all, the hardest part might have been the stone steps up to the keep of Hikone Castle, which I visited after the hike.
