Gobi Desert Nomad Encounter Map

10 August 2025 Made a spontaneous visit to a nomad in the middle of the Gobi Desert, and we definitely didn't regret it. With the help of our local guide in translation, we learned that she's a single mum living alone in such a harsh environment, while her kids and grandkids have all moved to the city. Her stories reminded me how fortunate we are to live in modern cities with comfort and convenience, and to be truly grateful for the blessings we already have. PS: She asked for a photo with me because, according to her, I did a great job milking her goats!
