Preparation for fitting Defi gauges to an 86

I've still got the Defi triple gauges – water temp, oil temp, oil pressure – that I had in my old motor. Got the control unit too. What should I do about the sensor attachments and wiring? Might need to get new ones for those. I bought a dedicated gauge pod for the 86 as soon as I got it, but I still haven't fitted it. Maybe I'll get it on after the MOT.
