My Instructors' Guidance Before the Ring

Thank you to the official for capturing this memorable moment. I just realised that I was standing between my instructors, Master and Senior Master Francis Ting. At that moment, I was struggling mentally, trying to adjust my mindset and emotions before stepping into the ring. Master Gerry has been coaching me with his advanced sparring techniques, and it is truly an honour to have him by my side since 2024, when I competed in my first international match. Senior Master Francis, with his extensive knowledge and attention to detail in patterns, has helped sharpen my skills tremendously. It is also a great honour to have him standing beside me and supporting me throughout my journey. Their words of encouragement have given me the confidence and strength to step into the ring and give my best. A deep bow and heartfelt thank you to both of my instructors. Without their guidance, support, and dedication, I would not have achieved so much in my competitive career. This journey is far from over.
