Jeonju U17 Tournament Review

2026 U17 Jeonju Tournament — 🏆🥇 This team, without any 17-year-old players, fought their way through and achieved excellent results, a testament to their hard work. The journey wasn't easy due to their relatively young minds and immature mentalities. Thankfully, everyone had a clear direction and worked together with great team spirit, overcoming numerous obstacles 👍🏻 When leading the team this time, my main focus was on whether the players could demonstrate the details practised during training. Honestly, it didn't fully meet expectations, but I'm pleased that they better understood their roles on the court and strived to do their part, contributing to the team. Perhaps the team's attention was on two players, but I know that without the silently contributing teammates, this achievement would never have been possible. Many players also became more confident, daring to make decisions and take shots on the court. A player's progress is never measured by scoring, but by whether they can contribute to the team when they step onto the court. From defence to transition offence, I saw significant improvement and maturity in how many players handled all the details. This team has slowly shown me the value of basketball. I hope parents and the coaching staff can give these kids positive support; they are working hard 👍🏻 And thanks for all the encounters, which have allowed me to grow as a coach 😄
