Amazon delivery, parcel left in communal post box

I contacted Amazon by phone. *Image is for illustration purposes only The specified delivery instruction was 'leave at the front door' which would be fine if it was a house, but my home is on the 5th floor of an apartment building. Today's parcel was left at the back of the communal post box area on the ground floor. Is this considered the front door? I checked with the operator on the phone, and they confirmed it was definitely registered as 'front door'. The driver was also identified, and the response was that this would not happen again. Of course not!
