Our Favourite Central Australia Food Spots

We weren’t expecting to find so many cracking places to eat and drink while travelling through the middle of Australia, but Central Australia definitely surprised us.
From remote outback pubs to poolside lunches and sunset drinks, there are some pretty great spots to break up the road trip.
Here are a few of our favourites 👉
You probably wouldn’t expect a tiny, extremely remote hotel in the middle of Australia to have great food… but we can confirm, the Devils Marbles Hotel does!
We had such a good meal here. Try the butter chicken and nasi goreng, we dare you!
We camped at Ayers Rock Campground when visiting Uluru, but you can also use the pool at Sails in the Desert.
A couple of drinks, a club sandwich, and a swim? A little bit of luxury in the middle of the outback.
All we can say is WOW.
Come here for sunset. The views are absolutely gorgeous, the vibes are immaculate, and it’s such a good spot to sit back with a drink after exploring Kings Canyon.
You'll find good beer, good food, and a really relaxed spot to spend an afternoon or evening at.
Definitely worth adding to your list if you’re passing through.
Tucked away at Olive Pink Botanic Garden, is such a beautiful spot for a coffee and something to eat.
A pretty good place to slow down for a while when you’re exploring Alice Springs.
Walk in and you could honestly be anywhere!
The cocktails are incredible, the food is great, and the beer garden is such a good spot to sit back and relax.
Definitely one of those places we didn’t expect to find in the middle of Central Australia, but absolutely loved.
